Wonder why you haven't been getting your mailorders recently? I got married, and then I went on a honeymoon to Vietnam and Bali. I'm back now, I'll be sending out your orders and rocking out in my own band soon.
I've always had a blog, I just don't want to call it that. Blog is a lame word for it. However, I'm going to try to write more short articles in the style of a blog and make the interface to the "zine" more blog-like. If you want a real blog, here's one I made recently: What Cats Like. Enjoy.
I spent the fall living in Budapest. Read about it here: BP Blog
Earn It Yourself! There's a new website in town, that I've made with some friends. It has some of the features of this site (calendar, articles) combined with parts of BYOFL (band listings) plus some new really cool features, includeing a show trade tool that I think is one of the only ones out there meant to connect underground bands with one another. Check out the Beta site! EarnItYourself.com

The Unit Breed
Lost Eyes CD / DVD
Lost Eyes is a double disc CD / DVD extravaganza. This is the 5th album by The Unit Breed, and it showcases the bizarre brilliance of the band. "Lost Eyes" is 55 minutes of unsettling, dark music. The DVD contains a movie version of the CD. It's a work of unacknowledged genius, and has moments reminiscent of Sonic Youth or Fugazi, but remains unique and uncategorizable.

Trabant
Young, Reckless and Debonaire
Stripped down punk rock, conceived and recorded in the dark crannies of rural exile. Fast, cheap and out of control. The CD comes with videos and a diy guide to making CDs.

Hopesick - Look What You've Done
Hopesick plays turbo-charged melodic punk rock fused with brutal hardcore breakdowns and insane guitar leads, all tied together by vocalist Brad's frantic screams and beautiful melodies, spouting out lyrics about personal struggle, acceptance, political and social issues, and relationships, makes this band not only worth listening to, but to see live as well. Their off-the-wall stage antics and exciting stage presence has helped them make their mark in the sluggish North Florida punk rock community. After playing countless shows to fratboys and disenfranchised high schoolers, Hopesick has been allowed to grace the stage with such acts as Frenzal Rhomb, Mad Caddies, Voodoo Glow Skulls, the Pilfers, Roger Miret and the Disasters, Inspection 12, Army of Me, and a ton of great local Florida bands.

Varnagel - Det Som Var
Varnagel is a trallpunk band from Sweden. Trallpunk is a style of punk that comes from Sweden and Sweden only. Yeah, they have their Dis-core(Scandi-core),Garage Rock, Power Pop, Punk, whatever, but the one thing they can call their own is trallpunk. People not keen on foreign bands or bands that dont sing in English, say it sounds like Bad Religion, but its much more than that. The vocal lines and guitar melodies have a distinct Swedish folk sound, that comes from Swedish bands like Asta Kask, Strebers, Charta 77, DLK, Raserbajs, Radiaktiva Rakor etc.
