Wonder why you haven't been getting your mailorders recently? I got married, and then I went on a honeymoon to Vietnam and Bali. I'm back now, I'll be sending out your orders and rocking out in my own band soon.
I've always had a blog, I just don't want to call it that. Blog is a lame word for it. However, I'm going to try to write more short articles in the style of a blog and make the interface to the "zine" more blog-like. If you want a real blog, here's one I made recently: What Cats Like. Enjoy.
I spent the fall living in Budapest. Read about it here: BP Blog
Earn It Yourself! There's a new website in town, that I've made with some friends. It has some of the features of this site (calendar, articles) combined with parts of BYOFL (band listings) plus some new really cool features, includeing a show trade tool that I think is one of the only ones out there meant to connect underground bands with one another. Check out the Beta site! EarnItYourself.com

The Unit Breed
Lost Eyes CD / DVD
Lost Eyes is a double disc CD / DVD extravaganza. This is the 5th album by The Unit Breed, and it showcases the bizarre brilliance of the band. "Lost Eyes" is 55 minutes of unsettling, dark music. The DVD contains a movie version of the CD. It's a work of unacknowledged genius, and has moments reminiscent of Sonic Youth or Fugazi, but remains unique and uncategorizable.

Trabant
Young, Reckless and Debonaire
Stripped down punk rock, conceived and recorded in the dark crannies of rural exile. Fast, cheap and out of control. The CD comes with videos and a diy guide to making CDs.

I hear American Steel is back together and going on tour. You can still buy their first album here

New Disorder records sold mp3s way before iTunes even existed. All the underground music you can't get from the major corporate labels is here. Labels and bands and outlaws get in touch and we'll add your music here!

The Brokedowns - These Colors Don't Run (the musical)
Great punk from the midwest. These guys have a lot of dillinger four in them, and this record should be a hit with all the kids. Excellently executed, tough and still witty the way it should be!

The Electric Eye - Electric Wisdom
Crazy amped up rock and roll. At times, it reminds me of The Tight Bros from Way Back When, other times it has a more mainstream feel. From Portland Or.

P.A.W.N.S. - You Talk of Sacrifice...
The last pawns CD with the old Santa Cruz lineup. Male and female vocals, old school punk rock and intelligent socialist/anarchist lyrics.
